Theres a couple reasons Im doing this to my wagon.
1. It owes me...I had close to 2000.00 into it when I melted the engine and the trans was torq binding. :(
2. My 13 yr old son wants my RX for his first car:)
So last weekend while installing the front lift wifey comes out to take a look. She doesnt like white and I have 3 white vehicles;), and she says what color are you going to paint it...I say well its in good enough shape for me ( being nice to wifey:rolleyes:..and she says...well, your going to drive this forever right? ( lol ) and I say..yes dear I am. So she says...well, you will have so much money into it you might as well...so I say WHITE!!!! and she quitely leaves...marital bliss..
So, after putting you thru a brief moment in my life...what color should I paint it..hint..it has blue interior
Cheers, Mark

The weak are protected much more in todays society.

Also, bring in the breeding licences!

Wagon looks good!

Dear Mrs T'sunami

From all the years of driving white cars I hear , and realise white is a safe colour, second only to those flouro workshirts - unless you live in a lot of snow. I have studied the temperature range of your region and forgot to look at snowfall. The climate is so very close to mine as far as temperature goes, it is not funny - minus 9 C to plus 41C. Snow falls and stays once in twenty years. You get 50% more rain - maybe that equals a lot of snow near the coast ??

Well, anyway, if you are not yet used to driving white cars, may I suggest from a very safe distance across the waters that a red or blue pearl over would go very well, giving your gifted husband his white and your change of colour.

Regards, Jonno

Not alot of progress today but I installed a pair of inner arms and sway bar from a RX. With the helper only being used on the wagon ive gained an additional 2"'s along with what the 4/6 rear lift created. I plan on adding a block above the helper incase I do botton out the suspension.

Ive decided to source longer brake hoses instead of relocating the line clamps and I had to put a little heat to the fittings today so all the hoses will be replaced.

Well, Ive been working alot of weekends but I did manage to make a little progress this weekend on my wagon.
Cleaned up the interior abit and installed a manual pedal box from an RX, and added electric mirrors and interval wipers, and I have a tilt column to install after I receive my harness and ecu

Ran across this at a wrecking yard in "new" condition and the right color

Well its been a while since ive updated, and im going thru post withdrawl so heres whats currently up with my wagon.
This weekend I installed new ( used carpets) and will be replacing the door cards, donor was an '86 GL wagon, usually the GL's get the nicer of the interiors. Ive also installed longer brake lines to retain all the stock line anchor points after lifting. Ive also received a set of pug lugs for the 15" alloys. For now ill run the L discs at all 4 corners, but after the install of new rotors and pads on the XT6...may not be long until another upgrade. Picked up a rear tire carrier, once I find a straight rear bumper I plan on pulling the cover and figuring a mount/pivot point for it. Ive been having 2nd thoughts about running a na Leg 5 spd behind the ej20g, so within 2 to 3 weeks ill have full turbo drive train from the starter back to the rear axles from a '96 jdm WRX-V Limited, 4.11:1 5 speed, lsd rear, modded axles, driveline and short shifter for a plug and play install into my wagon. I also have some very big items in the works and hope to have them posted up soon.
Cheers, mark

That door card for the front dor would be some amusement in our land - telling navigator how to shift gears or cool down after extreme turbo use? Does anyone really ever read them ?

Mark, where are you going to store all these Subie cars and the new bits , just a little further back from the house I suppose? Plug and play makes good sense.

A little update as parts are starting to come in, Ive aquired my wrx drivetrain but havnt had the time to get the stuff ready for install, although I do have a 4 day weekend coming up...

'04 wrx pedal box to allow a hydraulic clutch install on our lh drive cars
and wrx / L series hybrid axles as the wagon will be sporting a wrx 5 spd and 4:11 rear lsd.

more good stuff on the way, all i need now is time and some decent weather
