larger tyres on my brumby
larger tyres on my brumby
I have noticed some of you have replaced the standard 13 inch tyre on a brumby with either a 14inch or 15inch. Can some one tell me the difference in performance you will get with these changes.

the main reasons for replacing the 13's with bigger tyres (14/s 15/s) are ground clearance , road handling and to some degree looks
at the same time most people put a 2 inch lift kit or bigger in to stop tyres rubbing on the guards and body.
I had a wagon years ago that had 14 inch rims with 185r light truck tyres on it and no lift kit I know of people who have 195/65/14 tyres with no lift as well
it is worth doing

this should answer any tire questions you have
for the record Ive got 215/65/14r tyres on my brumby with a 5 speed liberty AWD box and at 110km/h Im doing around 115km/h (speedo reading)
with my old box (dual range brumby box) I was doing closer to 125km/h at 110 km/h (speedo reading)
