I have owned the car for 4 years now and is my pride and joy.

A little history of the car:
It was originally bought by my cousin new in 1990, she drove it from Adelaide to Canberra 8 times a year and also used it as her main daily driver for the entire time she had it. she also kept it garaged and constantly maintained by Subaru dealers through out its life, hence its in near perfect condition

In 2002 it blew a head gasket at 280,000k, the engine was removed completely rebuilt and given a new lease on life.

She then bought a 2006 Lancer Wagon and I kindly took the L off her hands :P (had always loved it), now she contantly asks for the L back as she hates her lancer and misses the subie :P

So far the subie has been in the family for 20 years, I aim to try my hardest to keep it in the family for another 20 as it has so much history and memories attached to it

Since I have had it I have done:

* Scoop
* Wheels
* 2.5" Catback system (Sounds mean, always loved the burble of a well tuned carb with a decent exhaust)
* New carb
* Drift competition steering wheel
* 3" Tacho
* Pioneer USB Headunit with ipod in glove box + 2x Sony Xplod 280W Speakers (with external tweeters)
* Navman GPS Mounted at bottom of dash (hardwired behind the dash for power as I was sick of the big chunky power plug sitting in the cigarette lighter and having cables going everywhere)
* Re-Upholstered the front seats to make them more comfortable.
* SAAS Pedals, Gear Shifter, Gearboot
* Central Locking
* 2" Vacuum Gauge

Future Plans:
* Re-spray the car gunmetal grey/silver
* Lowered/Stiffer King Springs (This L is in too good condition to take offroading, hence why in my signature I am looking for an old MY to thrash :P)
* Webber Conversion (I know I am old fasioned but I love my carburettors, never been a big fan of fuel injection + computers etc etc, the only way I would go EJ is if I found one of the rare carbed models)
* Install new D/R 5 Speed I got off a fellow Ausubaru member as mine is starting to get a bit of a whine from the input shaft bearing. (but its not too noticable at this stage + I need a free weekend to do it

Its strange this EA82 seems to have a bit of grunt to it as well, I have driven plenty of other L's and Leone's and know the gutlessness of them but this one seems to have a bit of a spring in its step (maybe due to the exhaust mods etc)
* 1990 L Series Sportswagon (Daily Driver)

* WTB 1982-84 MY 4WD Wagon (Any Condition)

Nice L mate! Looks the goods!

Keep her rolling - I'm sure you'll cruise along just fine doing that!

Cheers
