Rear brumby torsion bar saggy

Hi guys,

We noticed 2day that the brumby sits low on the back and if we add some weight its really bad. Its like she cant take any load at all.

Which way must i screw that bolt to make it stiffer?
Also if the torsion bar is ****ed, could i replace it with a MY wagon or sedan one?
Do they all have the same weight rating? or would the brumby one be harder due to it being a ute.

the MY wagon and sedan are exactly the same parts, but it would be highly unlikely that the torsion bars are stuffed and it is more likely that the shockies are in need of replacement.

you can put on L series coil overs but you need to modify the tops of the struts or the lift adaptors on your car so the springs dont rub on the body or tyres.

or alternatively look at the L series shock at Pauls workshop that will eventually go on my brumby which still needs a 33-35mm spacer put on it

The shockies are new, only 2-3months old.

The bolt needs to b screwed in to raise the back of the ute

brumbys only have a 500 kg load capacity so if you put 4 people a dog and a gas barby in the tray you are at the limit of the safe loading.

are the shocks brand new or working second hand parts

and if you want to wind up the torsion bar turn it clockwise

Shocks are brand spankers and don't seem to be the issue.. I watched (and heard the noise) the car from on top of the hill but from what I saw, I'm under the impression that the lift kit is shifting sideways and the tailshaft is jumping out of the spline on the output side of the gearbox I'd like to get the car on the hoist and check out some things.

And yeah.. righty tighty.. lefty loosey
