Liberty cutting in and out

Post by MUNKEY » Sun Oct 10, 2010 4:10 pm

Intermitting problem that i cant diaognose. Ill be driving along and it cuts in and out quickly as if im switching the key on and off again. happens once or twice every drive.

Ive cleaned the battery terminals and put the back on tight. I checked and cleaned the air flow meter. And ive had the car running and have shaken all the wiring under the bonnet trying to see if it will cut but it doesnt. the car is bog stock and one a owner with no after market accesories on it that might be causing an electrical problem.

Any ideas???..

Okay it sounds like it could be your fuel filters are blocked just enough to restrict the volume of fuel being delivered.
