Is there a hint of regret in this thread???

You know what to do:

BUILD ANOTHER ONE!!!

It won't quite be the same but still. And if you're worried about captive nuts you could make the lift blocks in this area one block for extra strength AND you could try driving your subi with less abuse

Wanky was one of a kind, I'll admit that. Have you got any other photos of the guard cutting required for the 29 inch tyres?? I'd be keen to see a couple of those that show some good detail as to what you did to get them under there ;)

Cheers

sleeper l series

EJ20T
sports suspension
roll cage or stiffen chassis
cross bred kit
tinted windows
2 exhaust system (one racing muffler other one quiet legal spec with a solinoid to switch between them)
12inch sub
6.5inch splits in front
6.5in 2way in back

7inch touch screen carputer (ill give you a mini itx motherboard for free)

that would be show car spec right there

build another
build it better though, do things noone else is, my aim basically
other than hearing about it i havent seen any build up thread (linky anyone?)
but i can see the iterations that it went though.

id say start again, either offroad or top hats ideas cept with old black 4 stud wheels with the hubcaps on the rears =)

of course theres a hint of regret.

it was my first car, had so many good times in her.

when i got rid of her she was on her 4th gearbox (the best l-series box ive felt..now in guys car i believe)

blew 2 ej22s and then went ej20g.

only had two different sets of rims, went from the 14inch steelies to the 15inch six studs.

couple of weeks before i wrecked it, she was running low 14s down the quarter with 29inch tyres, all my spotlights, close to 4inches of lift and 16psi of boost.

would hate to know how quick it would be stock with 13inch rims and tyres :)

Why not funny Dave - you need to see bed time stories to appreciate the comment. If you've still got resentment for your decision to sell/get rid of your escort you should see someone about that... (:P if you're not being serious, not :P if you are)
