Thanks mate, it came off an old WRX rally car, it has wings on the sides that go up at about a 45deg angle on the front section for about 40mm also, picked it up off Doug for $50:-D

super happy with the gear box in this machine. by default tested out low range under full power on the road with a v2 sti ecu fitted and it loved it.

Yeah it's definitely good & that little VF10 spins up nicely, interesting when the free flow rear muffler goes on......Oh and the newer struts with the nice Dobinson aqua blue 1" lift springs.
Car should be pretty much complete by then.
We need to get the big Nissan on the road, it'll be funny watching 3 Subi's attached by snatch straps dragging it off the beach LOL

Small update as I haven't driven it for a couple of months, I've found out a mate has 99% acquired a DCCD center diff for me, all I need to do is find a controller for it which should be easy enough from the States. Every second car up here has one of those alloy racks so I'm going hunting tomorrow, I'm in a place called Chiang Rai in north east Thailand, talk about cheap, I'm living in a sort of motel with free breakfast, wifi, air con, bar fridge for a whopping $11.00 and renting a Honda 125 scooter for $6.25 per day.

I've had a look at some of the off road/4X4 stuff they have here, a front bar in Stainless & powder coating but looking just like the $2,000 ones is around $500, fairly solid nudge bar around $75 & formed & shaped rear bar around the $80-90 mark.....unfortunately in 5 weeks in Thailand I saw my first Subaru last night so nothing in the parts list for Subi's but not to say they are not being made, I'll look into it further if I can find someone who sells the parts & speaks English lol.
