quick question about outback/forester wheels for liberty.

Post by mad_lib » Thu Jan 13, 2011 11:00 pm

hey all,
i have a quick question about forester and outback rims on a liberty. I have done heaps of reading on here but just want this question answered. I am putting outback struts in my gen 1 liberty and see alot of people run forester rims aswell, so is this mainly for the offset of the forester rims??
Also can i use outback rims instead??

I know this has been covered hundreds of times on here, i just wanted my questions cleared up.
thanx all

Yes, and Yes.
The offset helps with tyre clearance, and Outback alloys look much better than Forresters.

Thanx for the info.
Another question, it will prob sound stupid but i'll ask anyway. What are the difference in offsets between my liberty and foresters wheels??
Instead of gettin forester wheels, can i just use my liberty rims with spacers so i can clear bigger tyres??
thanx for any info.
