Hey, so found my radiator is crack on the front of one of the side tanks. I have a 92 EJ22 liberty.
I am going to cruise the wreckers tomoz, but Wanted to know if i need a radiator out of same 92 model, or if i can maybe find the same radiator in a later model with less kms...
anything else to look out for when buying 2nd hand rad?
Cheers

Or buy an new off the shelf OEM standard item - don't go buying someone else's problem! This is what killed a freshly rebuilt EA82 MPFI that I had in Ruby Scoo on a very hot day while driving "to a schedule" that we didn't need to be following - long story anyway!vincentvega wrote:just go to your local radiator place and have them fit a new end tank, and clean it out while they are at it.

yeh, ebay a reconditioned one, or take it to a radiator specialist
these are the 2 most cost efficient and best for piece of mind hey!
Wreckers are run by ex cons and ppl fresh out of jail, they look at u as if your a dumb citizen with no brains, and charge u accordingly.
please for ur own sake dont get one from the wreckers, unless u absolutely must and cant afford to get it reconditioned.
