parker lights problem

I have a my07 impreza 2.0i and have recently changed the battery. For some reason my parker lights are staying on even when the key is out of the ignition and when I'm driving I have no dash lights or accessory lights. Any ideas what could be wrong or how I could fix it?

also check your fuses, probably blown the illumination fuse

I also am going with the button on top, had a friend witha forester had lights just not working or staying on after screwing around with a multimeter turned out just needed to press that button then turn lights off and on, off it went

Made no sense to me at all but thats how it went.
