Happy Birthday Drew

Post by RSR 555 » Mon Jan 31, 2011 12:40 pm

21 today? hehe

what did you get?
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

thanks Paul.
Unfortunately not 21, was my 30th!
Nothing car related, well I suppose I did order a couple of silicone bends from Ebay yesterday so self-presents there.
Got a new clock/radio, some gift vouchers, stuff like that.
Was quite a big family get-together because it was a combined engagement party too.
Oh yeah, I'm engaged now lol.

Happy birthday Andrew (where was this when I logged in this morning?)

and congratulations on the engagement.

a word of advice open a secret account if you don't have one already.

make sure all your statements for this account are sent to your email account.

Trust me it will come in handy later on down the line.

Naa don't bother with a secret account just have a pre-nup agreement drawn up what is yours is yours and what is hers is yours eheheh.
but whatever the outcome Happy birthday and congratulations.

I was thinking along the lines of an account for purchasing toys ... sorry cars and parts. :)

and I always thought it was "whats hers is hers and whats yours is hers".

Hehehe... I thought you were just against marriages!

Kinda like the way you come across at times as a disgruntled teacher at times :p

Cheers

Im a grumpy old man in general Bennie, and Im definitely not against marriage. but once you get married and the kids come, the car fund dries up and you seem to spend 2-300 dollars a month on nappies and milk. not to mention the money you spend on food, clothes, toys etc.

by the time a kid is 10 you have spent a minimum of 100000 dollars raising him or her.

I have 3 kids I wouldn't have it any other way but I really wish I had a secret account :)
