No life in the l-series

Post by stewbaru » Wed Feb 02, 2011 3:47 pm

Was just putting the steering column stuff back together after trying to take the steering wheel off, and somehow managed to get one of the metal pieces for adjusting the wheel to come in contact with the ignition wires, and it started to smoke for about 5 seconds while i got a screwdriver to knock it away.

Anyway, tried starting her and no life at all. Checked the fuses next to the steering column and there was one blown(r-def) so swapped that for a good one, and still nothing.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers
Nick
