100w Headlights in a brumby?
Has anyone changed the headlights in a brumby to 100w lamps. I have bought 4 new 100w lights but cant seem to get the wireing correct. If anyone has had this problem and was able to solve it please let me know.
Thank you

The simple way that I'd do it is to run a big (6mm) wire directly from the battery, fuse it at 20A and use that as the power for the relay. The output wire to the headlights would be 6mm as well, you might get away with 4mm. The trigger can come off the old headlight power cable. This is a tad messy but its easy. If I was going to effort for a clean job I'd delete the old headlight wiring and run heavier duty cable in its place

Chris, I know you're an auto electrical bloke and I don't want to step on your toes but....
When I'm wiring spotties or 'headlights on' kits at work I wire the relays slightly different to that.
87 - to light
30 - from battery
85 - trigger
86 - earth.
