hey guys

does my manual gearbox have to be wired up because the plug from the engine harness an the plug from the gearbox is totally different.

what will happen if its not wired up ?

YES!! No, just kidding.... in your rush you leave us in the dark a little here....bring us up to speed as to what you have done, what you are doing to which Subaru model

Gearboxes have switches to switch reverse lights on, indicate if you are in 4WD, hi or Lo range etc , you got these functions and want need them to continue to work you have more work to do. Pics and wire colours and stripe trace colour also helps

ok well ive just done a conversion on my 92 lib with an rs motor plus wiring, but ran outta money very quickly and had to have a fwd gearbox for the time being.

and until i can save for a awd i will be using the fwd.

just wanted to see if i could leave the box unplugged as the plugs are different and i dont really want to cut and solder as it will only be in there for a month or so.
