Leaking fuel tank

Post by baitman » Wed Jun 16, 2010 5:28 pm

Hi All have searched everywhere but cant find the answers so thought id start new thread. My father has a 2001 liberty wagon and its o ring in the top of the fuel tank is leaking, his mechanic has looked and told him that on those models you cant get to the top of the tank from under the back seat so he has said you have to remove the rear suspension, tailshaft and diff to then drop the tank and replace the 50c o ring i,m going to have a look on the weekend but im sure there must be a easier way ?
