Welcome to the forum vortex87.

Post up some pics or a link of your vortex so we can all drool over (what steptoe calls it) this door wedge :p That's a dig at steptoe, not your vortex for the record!

And wouldn't an AWD setup be more beneficial for black top racing - which is what I presume you'll be doing??

Cheers

Bennie

I love the roof treatment to the sunroof problem.
Vortexes are getting rare here.

yeh it had a lil bit of gutter rust so cut that out made a new gutter then welded the sunroof up was a bit tricky with subies bein galvanised even when u grind it off it still is there and thin material had 2 tack n tack n tack till it was ridgid then liquid metal filld the small gaps then metal flake filled to seal over, then boged to smooth it turnd out alrite could have been alot beta but how far do ya go was runing outa time to paint before winter and its only a track car

10 and 15 mins after the OP was posted was not a big worry that no one had viewed the pics.. it does take a selected few to enjoy the sweet aerodynamic of the Tex but sales did show they went the hot flavour of the 80s.

recieved my custom coilovers last week, so rears are now fitted, cant do fronts till i convert to wrx steering nuckle when the half cut goes in, just runing a stiff spring with standard strut.

with the vortex front towers being diferent bolting orientation to wrx/liberty and wanting camber adjustment on the tower i ordered them to suit the vort but they still sent me wrx ones, so i ended up geting me old boy to make some new ones on the cnc plasma cuter at work.
heres some pics.
