'GET BACK' 98 outback

Post by Alex » Fri Jul 01, 2011 9:39 am

does anyone know much about this car?

its on ebay, got all the work done already etc, had its headgasket fixed already bla bla bla.

its sitting on $4550 atm, if i can get it for cheap i'll probably be interested in it.

problem is the auction is finishing this evening and i havent had a chance to look at it in the flesh.

seems like a very nice and well looked after car though.

any advice?

did some research and have opted against this car.

found him on other forums

he has never gone thru with any of the mods he has planned, but just the fact he has considered NOS and unichips, bla bla bla is enough to put me off.

next line of call is another gen3 outback

Both the previous owner of my cars, Grey L and the vortex, had terrible plans for them too,,, luckily i rescued them from the crusher. Wired how i only paid $100 for both:p
But now, The Grey one owes me more than 70 times that:( and she is still not done....

The previous owner of my foz kept her like new. No scratches, kept in a garage every night, low km. Then when I got her she came alive... Now theirs dents in every panel and scratches all over. She is somewhat beaten but I still love her. Mechanically shes A1 and and is a decent offroader. Im happy with what ive made out of her.
Atleast the interior is still like brand new except for the after market stereo system :)
