hey all
i will be selling my ea82 mpfi motor in a few months just want some insite into what its worth if anything lol its done over 320xxxks bit smokey on startup and tapet noise goes away n comes back also have the matching fwd gearbox. even if its worth a case of beer id prob be happy.

what are u swapping with?
does it get hot or use water?

couldnt tell ya if its using water yet it will be taken out for one track day before the jdm 95 wrx driveline is fitted. get a feel for the car before i double the hp : p and then some hehe

I'll take that motor off ya hands if we can arranges shipping, I'm in SA and I so feel my wanted thread will go untouched so if I can get a subi motor then I feel a farm buggy coming on.....

Wreckers want $100 for the complete set of timng covers and backing plates. Scrap pays from 6 to 50 for th engines

The heads are the start of EA82T heads , just need drilling and tapping on turbo side. The originals had different exhaust valves. If they have no cracks, they have some value better than scrap, worth servocing and hoarding to some of us.

Sorry to hijack the thread but nice to know the MPFI heads are good replacements for the EA82T as i just picked up a fuel injected touring wagon the other day as spares for my RX and had know idea of the similarities!

I had a head service place convert an mpf head and try to pass it off as a turbo head I had left with them. Tap for oil supply and drill for oil return tube and essentially you have it bar the longer exhaust valve - from factory. After market replacements are same part number acording to extremeRX
