40+40x0+1 = ?, i've done a few years of calculus study and the obvious methodology would be to follow bimdas yielding a solution of 41, in saying that i've watched math lectures prove 1+1 = 0 so there is some chance of some dude coming up with a logic based solution giving a different solution, i doubt it but it's plausible

I have proof that 1+1=0
1+1=1+√1=1+√(-1)(-1) != 1+√(-1)*√(-1)=1+i*i=1+(-1)=0
reading about it made my eyes bleed and summoned El Chupacabras.

multiplication takes priority over addition (at least thats the best way i can think to explain it, and for simple stuff like that you can base it off bimdas) unless the brackets indicate otherwise.
any off you guys have a scientific or graphics calculator (actually your computer will have one too)? type it into that as it is written and it will tell you
