Whose diagram? Most , if not all are hard to read. Your actual situation sounds correct. Do you have any ignition/running problems?
Not sure if the radio suppressor is in the diagram, is attaches to the body just near the coil.As for your pollution and fuel lines, can't help as i removed most of mine in LPG conversion

this is what happens when you buy something that has parts missing. have raked up some extra funds from the accountant (wife) to purchase the missing distributor on the car would be easy to move i told her just have to sort out getting it running. i purchased a workshop manual (CD) that don't show much just a guide to help sort it out
Thanks for the help

Phew.. I just read your first post and got worried.. Black with a white track is generally a ignition feed wire colouring (in the Subies) so glad you got some better info there.

there is this as well, it is for the 83 wagon but quite a bit of the information is useful.

Paul that's one very dirty brumby!!!made24x4 wrote:does any one know where the blue and white plug goes on the L/H side of the coil
made24x4 - that plug with the multiple wires in it that's probably blue on one side and white (kind of like a very faded plastic white colour) is your instrument cluster gauges, and some wires for the solenoids on the carbie such as the anti-dieseling solenoid

Cheers
