To fit the hand brake lever, you need to drill a couple of holes. I'll put a template on the cd so you can print it, line it up on the original bolt holes, punch, drill and use spacers (for height) and bolts provided. Its pretty easy to line it all up. I've taken lots of photo's inside and under the car and will make it all available with notes.
MY is a little different but still simple.
I compared a set of rear 2 spots from a bug eye WRX and they weren't compatable with the Liberty backing plates. I haven't checked if the WRX backing plate and handbrake cables are compatable with the conversion set up though, so it still may be possible to fit them.

aah ok. I still have the front end of a legacy GT here so thats what I'm going to use for brakes - booster and all. the 4 pot idea would be a better setup un my case (to haul up 280ps!) but if it won't fit completely then I'll make do.
I'll give sunspares a ring in teh morn and ask : pricing, differences between the plates and of course availabilty.

You don't need good brakes to pull up HP. My coupe stopped just fine with its brake setup (see sig) and it'd be making similar if not more power than that. Brakes stop velocity and mass, not power. You shouldn't be going much faster anyway, you'll just be getting there quicker.Chris_Rogers wrote:the 4 pot idea would be a better setup un my case (to haul up 280ps!)
The stock Lib RS brake setup is what I'll be using, it is my firm beleif that these brakes will test the structural limitations of the MY / L series anyway and that any more braking power will exacerbate this.
