It showed a Subaru 360 as well, and that farm yard Brumby bringing up the rear complete with dented tailgate
and a 22B... yay !!!

I love the ad but the car is just a lifted Imprerza :( Come on Subaru Australia, tell FHI we want AWD dual range with centre diff lock and plated LSD. THEN we'll get excited.

I filmed this at the drags last night. Those cars are awesome, they do the quarter mile in something like 5 seconds at about 500 km p/hr

Paul, Matt's new to subaru and is keen to learn - he's fitted in very well with us over here ;)

Matt, the 22B is a rare model of the WRX that has an EJ22T and a wider body to make it fit from what I understand. There was a limited run with each vehicle having it's own limited number badge on the dash some where - from memory, Paul will correct me if I'm wrong!

Cheers

Hahahahaha.. I was joking.. but I guess I should have put some 'jazz' faces in my reply lol

But you are on the right track there Bennie, it is rare and has the EJ22T engine but it's not a WRX. It's based on the 2 door STi. I remember it does have the number badge on it's centre console piece but it's been so long since I've looked in my garage, it's hard to recall  Man.. this is making me want to get home and go for a blat !! Goddamn work sux !!

Wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't trying to keep the kms low.. 42,000kms is too high at the moment.

Would love to drive it across if there wasn't a speed limit through the centre :)

Boost is around 1 bar as it's all stock atm.
