16" wheels on 89' liberty throwing out my speedo?

sorry guys i changed the post as I had already submitted it in another section. so ill just change the wording. if its now not in the correct location could someone move it for me? thanks...

so the other question is:
I just bought an 89 liberty and it has 16" wheels fitted to it.
It seems a little fast at 100k's so im wondering if these wheels are standard or off another model? My mate has the same model liberty and his has 15's fitted to it.

What size tyres are fitted to the 16"s
