WA rego stickers now history?

Post by steptoe » Sat Feb 11, 2012 9:59 pm

I recall reading that WA was gonna drop the rego sticker due to being an unnecessary item now new techology is out there to detect unregistered vehicles. Has it gone ahead yet?

B a pain not having a reminder stuck to the window!

SA did it July 1st last year. The RAA and many places like U-Pullit now sell reminder stickers, the same but different. So the government is saving money, but overall it's not much better.

it is annoying but on the other hand they do send a reminder, also you have 3 months to do the renewal, although the vehicle cannot be driven.
