Yeah.. from the email, Frog would fit in just nicely with that kind of weather.

It's raining again to day in Canberra, so there will be more coming down the river in the next few days...

keep your rain to yourselves please !
and stop watering your lawns! (saw someone with the sprinklers on today!!!!!!)

off to fill sand bags and hope for the best

good luck to those affected gunna be a messy few days !

any distressed frogettes should be pointed in my direction please

edit - I find it a little surreal this happening in NSW, when I was living in the NT it was normal to be under water every wet season (hence the name)
but I think we should get used to it, my opinion (humble humble) is that this kind of weather event is going to become more the norm

weather event (sounds like a competition)
see ya all on the dry side

15 years of farmers doing the raindance has come to fruition all at once

My Dad is in Griffith and me Mum is in Hay. The river is gunna be real swolen at Hay I recon when we fly down to Temora for natfly at Easter, we will be flying back to Hay each day so we will get to follow the swolen river most of the way.
No one likes to see a flood but you don't wanna miss one either.

That rain should slow the rabbits down too.

That means Balranald is next on the list and with the Murray & Lachlan also in flood it's looking like the 1956 floods did for my old home town.

Yer he is half way up the hill. Guess I will miss most of the floodong then.
Yer I am pretty sure he has ruffeled some feathers and uncovered some bad eggs in council.

Full on mate!

We got to watch the creek go up over breakfast without any rain at the time but loads the night before. It only went about a foot over the bridge which for us isn't a great deal compared to the floods of '93 and 2000.

Hope everyone's high and dry, if you're not then I hope you're coping well and all the best!

Cheers

Bennie
