
So I pulled it apart and put the LSD centre in it and checked the backlash.


As you can see, the wear is on the inside edge of the crownwheel in both forward and reverse.
If I swapped crownwheels so that the original from this diff was now on the LSD centre, would it improve things? Otherwise I am gonna have to myself a shim kit. Ive read some threads on other Subaru forums to just whack it in and dont worry about the backlash, but this is a daily driver so I want it done propperly
I also need to get a smaller torque wrench because the lowest setting on the one I have is 40NM
