electrical fuel pressure dash! gauge
http://www.egauges.com/vdo_ind.asp?Type ... N=ATM-2663
Just stickin' this in here for my bookmark and to share idea. The top of this gauge is about our 36 psi desired pressure, for EA82s anyway and would be an excellent idea for diagnosing or even giving an early warning fuel pump is ageing . Wondering why an oil pressure gauge and sender could not also be used. Thinking the way oil presure switches weep with age etc .....?

nice find, think I prefer the needle up analogue style and maybe trust a bigger brand with fuel pressure under the bonnet above the dizzy

It's now on my wish list! But the engine watch dog comes up first for a lot of vehicles!!steptoe wrote:http://www.egauges.com/vdo_ind.asp?Type ... N=ATM-2663
I personally don't like the digi units - I think they look tacky.

OK - I was being diplomatic:D
Besides the modern look a digit requires more than a glance, a look, registration in brain, a quick calc if the figure is acceptable etc - if a needle is pointing up where it should be - less computatins
Drifting onto temp gauges ....been putting off my next watchdog - undecided if I want to stay with TM2 and its big red digits or TM4 with grey LCD, smaller readout but gain its control relay circuit ....
awww, imagine a small LED LCD monitor screen with analogue style gauges showing up alternately or as selected, or if a monitored pressure or temp parameter, set by user has fallen outside ..... think they are available if you have enough coin

For a cheaper version of a watchdog, I have one of these that I am yet to fit.
ebay.com.au/itm/DC-12V-Digital-Temperature-Controller-Thermostat-C

It runs from 12v and has a relay output that you can connect to an alarm or light at any set temperature
