L series spot lights

meant to say great drawing RTA approved and all !

And , if you have a spare fuse box to pull the spade terminals from, there is usually a spare hole or two in your L's fuse panel to insert from behind in a battery or IGN supplied section to fit a fuse in for accessories you have installed.

I have just spent the last 2 hours trying to get the spot lights working but no good.
Why ?
I have not proven it yet but IT BLOODY WELL HELPS if the main feed directly from the battery is CONNECTED !!!!

For those who are daring you may want to try soldering wiring under your car's dash with a blowtorch soldering iron. Butane everywhere and trying not to melt anything.
Mind you I am not talking about the pocket torch variety but the spraycan sized type.

But they work as they should when the stock lights are on. Just need to swap the power source for the cab switch from the parkers, which are positively switched, not earth switched like the rest of the L series.

I think the parkers are the other way around so that they can be left on with the steering column switch when the ignition is off - for ADR's/other country's regulations.

Yeah, park and brake are differently rigged - cased the grief with my trai;ler LEDs with one earth wire, welcoming me back to the little world of diodes
