First MY touring wagon

This is an odd question I know but what year was the first MY Tourning wagon produced and distributed in Japan and Australia.
Short notice but I will explain later.

From memory, the first MY Touring Wagon (or highroof model) was produced in 1980 in Japan and the first one in Aus was in 1981

Forgot to mention the 1981-1982 came with chrome bumpers and anologue dash where as the 1983-1984 model came with the black plastic bumpers and digital dash.
