brumby inner door trim

Post by spambo » Fri Jul 06, 2012 4:24 pm

hey there,
1982 brumby
just wondering what people have done with regards to the inner doorhandle trim (small rectangle trim behind handle held on with one screw) as mine are perished and everyone i look at seems the same will one fit from another model?
just wondering what others have done?
would something like this still be avaliable new or am i dreaming?

cheers:D

I asked a similar question a while ago, answer was when I asked you could still get them new but not any more apparently. Might pay to give your local dealer a call anyway. And yes, it is a very common problem. The same parts from wagons, sedans, coupe's etc are all the same. On my wagon I swapped the better condition ones from the rear doors onto the front but even they are rotting before my eyes. Not an option for you in the Brumby though

Check with Frog ( members name ) . Not sure , but not that long ago as in 12 monthes, you could still buy them new. But dont quote me on that though.
