whilst looking for a picture of a hitachi carby showing where the name was (never found one) I stumbled onto this vortex restoration.

You know I never could decide whether I liked the Vortex look or not, but seeing one in pretty much factory condition has swayed me a bit ;)

I was lucky enough to see one out the front of my mate's place in shep the other morning on the way to work - I pulled up and said g'day to the guy and *managed* to ask him if it was turbo'd or not; he said it was but I'm not sure if he was pulling my leg or not - he didn't seem like the talking type - and I doubt he knew what Ruby Scoo was either.

I'm not sold on the wedge - the interior is too futuristic or star trekky for my liking, but the exterior is ok and I reckon with a 5 stud conversion plus the WRX sleeper drive train then it'd be gold. Still can't get over that interior!
