bull bar looks the goods also
Thanks Guys, I'm happy with it!!
Mounted my spotties and wired them up on the new bullbar. Fitted my sumpguard back on after grinding off more rattling headshields again Also fitted my new fishing rod holder.
I just measured under my sumpgaurd a few mins ago. At my lowest point I have 305mm of clearance. When the new tyres come along it should go up 20mm

A few weeks ago...
Home made trailing arm spacers to centre the rear wheels..

Replaced the center exhaust gasket in the old wagon since you couldn't hear yourself think in there lately. The gasket was leaking between the Y pipe and rear exhaust section...well perhaps leaking is the wrong word; there was no gasket left (completely blown out) both bolts were loose and there was about a 2mm gap between the flanges So I've been driving around essentially on an open Y pipe for weeks All because I couldn't be bothered going to buy proper gaskets, then today found some spares in the shed.
Let this be a lesson; cork rubber gasket does not work as an exhaust gasket, even in a pinch

I finished the warning light to remind us when the auto up switch sticks. Just an orange LED cluster wired into the motor wiring

Like that warning light Gannon.
We pick up our pup Miss Rosy in less than two weeks so planning a round Australia trip with her next winter (hoping) has necessitated a seat for her.
But anyway I saw a seperate seat fixed in position didnt do anything positive for the appearance of the trike. So I designed a fold down seat that folds up into the rear of the roof. Perspex lines the roof sides as to not damage the fabric.
Folded up
Folded down with windscreen folded out
A corner folds out also
and could take tall animals...lol
Deb is now making the cushions

Well not to my car but to me; I went and got my motorbike learners today Going to get my R-E licence which will allow me to ride a manual bike upto 250cc.
With all the driving I do ($20-30 a day worth of fuel or just over 100km a day) I think having a bike could be a much cheaper and more fun option over all. It would allow me to get the adrenaline rush I need which the foz just doesn't give Aswell as being much cheaper to run and maintain.
Considering in WA the weather is great 80% of the time and it's usually just me a bike seems sensible
Going to get a few lessons in the next few weeks and get my house mates to take me for a few rides since they have 2 bikes.

Don't really know what that second half means - but welcome to the world of bikes. Just remember that every **** on the road is actively trying to kill you and you be fine.taza wrote:Well not to my car but to me; I went and got my motorbike learners today Going to get my R-E licence which will allow me to ride a manual bike upto 250cc.
I don't do that many Km's a day, but the $8 per day saving in parking certainly makes it worth it for me.
Lashed out and got some of those sports seats that were on special at REPCO for my red Brum.
