Classic find ! Whats it worth ?
Local rally old timer here at the Hill has a RX leonie Turbo that he ran in local NSW And SA rally s I knew of this car and thought it was a locally prepared RX turbo Leonie . But on further enquire it is a factory rally RX rally car 300 produced world wide and 10 sold in Oz . Whats it worth it is for sale with Subaru race spec cams still in box and numerous spare parts cams log booked. Not trying to sell ol mate has plenty of foldys to his name but could be seperated has receipts for over 90k for this car WTF:-| Will hassle him for some photos for us die hard rally fans this was Subaru first foray into fwd turbo rally. and the predecessors' to to the WRX

too hard to put a value on it, or a price - due to its rarity I suppose. does it still have all the decals and lights and those mags etc ? I think local dealers fitted these RX out with the rally spec stuff like uprated gas suspension, close ratio gearbox, improved braking system ? , roll cage , body guards, different rims, and a black box for adjustable boost for 0.6 bar 135 Euro spec HP to 0.8 bar 170 HP. Thought there was another ECU too, maybe turbo, and larger exhaust. Not sure if these dealer done were the limited to just 10 though - the Greg Cusack beast was one - ran the H pattern RX mags.
Was this fellas brought into the country as is ? If so, it is one of 20 intended to be brought in for Subaru to subsidise ( @ $12,200 about 10k cheaper than a complianced showroom RX) privateers rather than back a team themselves... the Euro spec babies did not get Australian compliance plates, just special arrangements to regiter them for rally.
Be interesting to see if it has compliance plate or not ?? VIN number ??
