Lost count of the number of speedo units gone in my 84 Brumby, but its seat belt 14 years ago looked like a taxi's with 700,000km on it. It's first EA81 crank was badly scored, second EA81 import lasted a few years, third EA81 fully rebuilt lasted 180,000 and the donk in it at the moment has 495,000 on it between two of my Brums.

Wonder if the reading on the speedo when I got it is any indication of turning over - had 088XXX km on it. Yet to have one that dies before about 240,000km. The towbar indicates it (the bar) came from Moree initially, maybe too hot for the lube on the speedos internal 'diff' ?

The gLta has ticked over 270,000

My brumby has 214 thousand kms on the odo but I would say it is way more, as the odo I replaced got stuck when it went to 199999. which leads me to believe every time it went to a row of more than 3 nines the odo got stuck Im not sure how many thousand kms the motor has on it but it still goes :). My vortex has just clocked up 307 thousand kms but the motor in it has only don 180 thousand kms.

195,000km on the Forester. Time for it's 3rd motor and it's on it's 2nd gearbox. Most unreliable Subaru in the world! If the foz makes it to 350k I'll be happy, until then I guess I will keep replacing motors. lol
My old L-Series had 240,000km which is low for a car that's as old as me yet it ran like a dream ;) :D

280,000 on on Betty - my 97 Foz. No oil or water usage. Original clutch as far as I can tell.

I keep toying with a new car - but if Betty wont die I cant bring myself to replace her.

Ruby Scoo: 472xxxkm on the clock. 10k missing roughly from no speedo cable for a couple of months and since 455k km there's 18% missing from there too as I started running the 27's full time. I doubt I'll actually see her roll over the 500k as I'll want to wind the clock forward to show her true distance travelled once the new box is in (with the correct speedo gear).

Cheers
