Odo Readings ...
They sure do last well, my L series had 330,000 on it, good compression, no oil or water consumption issues and my old mans series 2 outback has just got to 300,000. Way back when I was an apprentice I serviced a couple of old Leone's that travelled about 100 km's a day and saw them both make it to 400,000 without any major issues.

There you have it generaly it appears subarus will clock up plenty of k's and run strong well into the 400 plus km's they are a well made vehicle with plenty of life to be had for your money my l series is on it second engine its unknown what happened to the engine that was in it as i brought it as its just sitting on the ground as spare parts now , i replaced it with another engine that was a quokka deal for $150.00 put straight in runs realy well and still plenty of life left . I also have a ford panel van as a daily driver and i recon the subi is actually more comfortable to drive on the road
:D
