But it's apparently the last re-occuring date like this until 2101 January 1st.

Well it was a shit day at work for me, nothing worked out smoothly... Just another day and on the 21st the World is not gonna end. Some people just need to grow up.

So...if the world does end on 21/12, will it progressively end as each country's time line hits the 21st?

As this stupid thing was based on the Mayan calender, which does NOT include leap years, so is out by 1 day every 4yrs (fast), & was calculated 4000yrs ago (?), that would mean this date is approx 1000 days too early!

Dont worry guys, we have 3 more years

Anyway, the Mayans were right in 1 respect...their "world" did end a long time ago, it just wont be the planet that ends. Well at least not for another approx 6 billion years lol

Seems someone comes up with a new reason why the world will end every decade or so...remember the Y2K bug?

Even more worrying is some people seriously believe the world will end on the 21st and planning things in anticipation.

I wonder what the reason for the world ending will be in 2020?

20th Feb 2020 is that not another occurance ... ? or is it something else ?

Thought it had ended , then I realised after a couple of beers, it was just another business trip to Guyra NSW. Small town but lots of Brumbies...........go figure

Nah 01JAN2101 is the next truly re-occuring date, in numbers it comes up like this: 01/01/01, one of the rare events when the Americans get the date system correct. The last time this happened was two days ago on the 12/12/12
