knock sensor

Post by ajames » Thu Jul 11, 2013 2:09 pm

I stuffed the knock sensor on my ea82t and don't fancy spending $100s for a replacement one, is there any alternate one that can be used? Or can I just not have one?

I think its 86 - its a 3 pin ecu, so I need the 2 wire knock sensor. I have looked on eBay but nothing comes up (like you got apparently) - might need to look a tad harder... also that ones about $50 more than I want to spend

I use EBAY Motors not ebay Australia

You may want to see if you can find a member with a working second hand sensor
