is some examples of what you'll find on wheel barrow and garden cart tyres and their tubes.
4.00 8/4.80 wots this supposed to mean is the 4.00 8 same as 4.80 just expressed a different way ? And embossed just in case one cannot decipher it out one way but the other? I think tubes get more confusing coz they sem to have a min and max embossed without actually stating min / max
Looking at a similar marked tyre it does measure up same as a 14 or 15" rim in a diameter measured same way car rims are - so 8 must be 8" dia rim and the 4.00 , could be tyre width when inflated ? Starts to sound plausible.
Then I found myself chasing bloody 12 1/2" x 2.25 tubes. Guessing 12 1/2" is rim dia and 2 1/4 is inflated tyre width.
The little old lady two wheeled garden carts made in Australia have pump up tyres - why ?? Send someone mad chasing chubes and tyres later ??
Ebay search reveals the UK is a good source of tyre and tube upgrades in 12 1/2" - for sporty strollers of all things!
understand wheelbarrow tyre sizes ??

Small Wheels ...
My understanding is that the first figure is the diameter of wheel / rim in inches, second is the 'ply rating' ie: how stiff it is & its load rate.
I hope that helps, good luck tyring to find the correct one ...
