She has a little bit of mud on her from last night :) My Husband just had to find a dirt road to take her on - we had owned her for approx 3 hours!!

I am sure that I will have plenty of muddy photos to post up in the near future. When I get home I will take some better shots for you and some of the interior. Although she is not as special or unique as a lot of your Subarus she is still a Subaru and I am so happy to be back in one :)

Yea we ended up going with the diesel engine, a lot better with fuel economy and I haven't seen many of them on the road so it makes her feel a little unique :)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been online much over the last week. We have been dealing with a family tragedy. Those of you who are from the Bribie Island/Caboolture area may have heard about the single vehicle accident on Bribie Island Road late on Friday night. My Sister and her boyfriend were travelling home to my parents house in Ningi from Bribie Island when her boyfriend fell asleep and ran off the road into a tree killing him instantly. My Sister suffered a broken arm and a couple of broken vertebrae, both requiring surgery, she was lucky to not be paralysed as parts of the broken vertebrae were pushing onto the spinal column. She was conscious during the whole thing and was the one to call the ambulance as no vehicles were present at the moment of impact and no vehicles stopped, she said she was yelling out at the cars going by but it was on the 90km/h section so no one would have been able to hear her. We have also figured out that my Brother was one of the cars that had driven past but he didn't recognise the car and thought it was just a car on the side of the road. Unfortunately my Sister had to wait beside her deceased boyfriend for what she says was 20 mins until medical help arrived. She was wearing her seat belt, he was not :( My Sister has had her operation on her back and will be having her arm operation in the coming days. She has been so brave and strong during this trying time and I am so proud of her. Seat belts save lives!

Gees, Tig, not an easy thing to tell the world and I am guessing many reading will be thinking same, and just not adding anything to your thread. I'm sure the thoughts of many members are with you and your family.

Tigger I'm sorry to hear this news. It's true what they say about seat belts - yet people still don't wear them; we're forever telling our kids at school to wear their seat belts in the van

All the best for your sister, family and her boyfriend's family during this difficult time!

Regards

Bennie
