New member here..
I have got a 05 XS with the usual suspects of issues to hit the ej25.
Leaking heads, bottom end noise(rod float i am suspecting) and timing belt due..
Hence i have picked up another EJ25 (apparently runs ok) to get rebuilt whilst mine is still running like a time bomb. (EJ251)
Ideal plans are to rebuild to std specs and drop in a set of cams, headers / exhaust and maybe intake. I am getting a mate to do the build once machining is done by harris engineering at some point.
Problem is where to get the parts for decent price, does anyone have wisdom on this subject or some links to "performance" parts.
