Does anyone play with autos any more?
I have converted my car to manual so i'm looking to get rid of all my auto gearbox parts collected over the past 10 years.
Custom auto box rebuilt at 170K ($2700) and removed at 244k after the converter failed! I suspect box is contaminated with metal from the converter so i'm happy to sell the box as parts.
Consists of:
1997 GX auto
1992 4.44 legacy GT front diff
early outback speedo gears
1994 legacy GT VTD
(front diff stubs may be spoken for)
GX auto tailshaft
R160 diff housing 4.44 R&P, open center (not assembled)
various VTD and MPT TCUs including a 93 WRX auto computer perfect for driving a VTD box in a Gen1
VTD and MPT crossmembers
VTD and MPT gearbox mounts (VTD mounts are getting hard to find)
complete VTD rear end from an SVX
2 complete MPT rear ends from GX boxes
2 auto starters
auto shifters, interior trim etc. basically if you are looking for anything Gen1 auto related let me know and i probably have it laying around.
Price negotiable, cheap for forum members. Just want the stuff gone and would rather see it used than sent to scrap.

no havnt heard from him but if you think he would be interested please tell him to get in touch with me.
I also forgot to add that the box has a modified valve body that has increased line pressure for nice firm shifts. Mods done by Brad at western suburbs automatics.
The box shifted really well. If I had used a larger TT / WRX converter i would still be driving the thing.
