Brumby 4 speed to 5 speed reverse switch??

Brumby 4 speed to 5 speed reverse switch??

I am sure this has been coveres did a search could not find any info doeas anyone know which/what /how to wire 4 speed reverse light switch to 5 speed box, seems 4 speed box has 2 switch thingys wired into a 4 pin square type plug the only thing i can find on the 5 speed is a round type plug with only 2 wires ant help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Not sure but I'm guessing you would have worked this out by now? If not, grab yourself a multimeter and test out for conductivity when the car goes into reverse. Also good to grab a wiring diagram for the Brumby and L.Series models.

and a biggy I found was make sure the switches work in the first place - or is it just me ? Found a cleanout with CRC556 and an additional washer made the switch work when in reverse

I believe the colours pretty much line up as well from memory. With a multimeter and bridging wire it's simple to check. The colours will give you a good place to start.

nope have not sorted this out yet will check the colours ok the multimeter thingy will attempt last if all else fails will get back to one and all with an update

There is an image I remember seeing - I think it may have been SuBaRiNo that made it (or found it on the net) originally, but I can't find it in the google searches I've done :(
