We are hoping it rains a bit before you come so you have a view of the Lake (caboolture river) The valet (jake ) will be waitng at the gate. The Cavier and Champers ( jatz and Bourbon ) will be on the deck (patio) And the butler (cobra) will be waiting to take your bags. Your suite will be made up for you (as soon as we set up your camp). You will be in the presidential suite beside Ben and Michelle who will be in the Penthouse (camper) We are ready for your visit. Bring it on. Can't wait.
For other that are travelling, we still have suites available. Not as high quality as the 2 mentioned, but still good.

When you have a couple of drivers it is very possible to do Sydney to Brisbane. With no harm to anyone.

Hmm.... methinks it might be a better idea to tackle it in two days. We do have two drivers - driving two cars!! One of these cars isn't exactly what you'd call replaceable either. And theres also the Hatch to consider (:P).

hmm you could hire a car trailer and have the cars taking it in turns on towing the other one. Then you could alternate drivers too. Extra load on the cars, but half the distance.
That's probably stupid.... :p

I recon that by the time you added the extra cost of hire of the trailer and the extra fuel the poor subi would use pulling all the weight , not to mention the strain on the running gear , it would be cheaper to drive each Subi :).

Cheers redskin, good to know the offer's there.

Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to get holiday leave for this BBQ. WA school holidays again coincide with the BBQ. However I've been wanting to go to the BBQ for the last 5 years, with the last 3 attempts being screwed over because of school holidays. This time I'm not going down without a fight. I'll be having a bit of a chat with my boss, on the cards is requesting for leave without pay. If it boils down to it, I might 'move on' and use the transition period for the trip. I hope I don't have to do that.

So for now its not looking all that great for me and the trip. I will have a definite answer as soon as I can though.

Had a good friendly chat with my boss today, strangely he seems happy with my efforts lately and is willing to give me the leave I need. Full steam ahead!

Only possible hitch now is building my wagon in time. I have 9 weeks to fit an EJ20G, 5spd AWD box, 4.11 viscous diff, 4" BYB lift kit, new tyres, new front & rear discs, balljoints, tierod ends, new hoses and fluids, new surge tank, new air shockie piping, new stereo and speakers plus clean it all up and drive it for a while to smooth out any problems. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan.

I am disassembling my beloved coupe this weekend, if any WA members want to come take a look at the good, bad and dodgy bits that have held it together for the past 4 years you're more than welcome.

Haha! See my post in the WA section... Coupey is being ripped apart this weekend! Next weekend is a post-payday weekend, hopefully I can afford a clutch so the motor can go in! I'm certainly not hanging about with it!

I got the time off sorted with work... and i have the money i need... just need to get the hatch to scratch. Although if one of us can't make it i think it would be a bad idea to go at it alone.
