Steering Rack arm grease caps.

I recently obtained a Used steering Rack. I dismantled it to replace Tie rods , Tie rod ends and Boots. I noticed that when I removed the old rubber boots their was a small rubber type grease cap over the ball of the Tie Rod where it screws into the Rack. Anyone ever come across these small Rubber grease caps. Seem like a good idea for keeping the grease up round the ball of the tie rod.

THE last rack I put boots on didn't have the grease caps ... didn't have anything but the power steering rack.

Sounds like a good idea, don't suppose you took pictures?

Unfortunately I didn't take Pics but I was hoping it may be possible to find them on Ebay. No luch so far.
