Hi all,
Needing to know what to search for rear shockies on a 89 leone sedan not 4 wd.Looking and finding only up to 86.

2wd sedan shocks from an '86 L series will fit fine.

As you say you just need to avoid the 4wd units

So long as it's from an L series it'll fit.

the ones on it are mcpherson struts

If McPherson struts on the rear it's a Liberty, not an L series leone.

Post a pic of your car, that'll solve any ID issues of the vehicle
