Hi all,
Looking for a referral for a reliable, honest making mechanic who is also reasonably priced in the Sydney area. Inner West to be specific but happy to consider a bit further out.
At the moment the only issue I am having is fuel consumption being a little high. I don’t want to take it to place where I am going to have all sorts of parts replaced in order to find the root cause. Hopefully a mechanic who is good at diagnosing these sorts of issues and reasonably prices.
I am not sure if I can ask this question openly in the forum and I am breaking any rules.
Feel free to send me a private message.
Thanks

Re: Reliable mechanic Sydney
Good start would be to get hold of a OBD II reader, it will show any error codes. Depending on your skill level you can tackle the basic things like oil & filter changes ... Then when you do take it to a mechanic, you'll have a better understanding / idea where to start. Sorry I don't know Sydney area well enough to recommend anybody there ...
