Hey . . I've got the same tasks ahead of me when I get around to the EA82T conversion! I've done a water pump before - its fairly straightforward. Having a workshop manual is invaluable - I've got the Haynes and found I can do almost anything now! Dont know much about the head gaskets- but hopefully that will change in a few months.

You will probably need to replace pretty much ALL your oil seals in that motor too... I have seen under neith your car and it wasn't pretty. Perhaps it had NEVER EVER been degreased... either way i was way way too scared to get close to it.

Waggaclint rebuilt my motor... i don't know if he is at all interested in more cash work but he is truely great at what he does. Bare in mind it wont be cheap... the heads will need skimming and the head bolts replaced at the very least.. thats if u haven't actually cracked a head.

the engine is bad becaus the power steering pump pisses out fluid...that was the issue when u had a look....always done that....only oil leak was weeping out of the head gasket..which was diagnosed when i had the car checked over...already contacted waggaclint...he would lend a hand if i had somewhere to do it..thats the main issue atm...

as for a cracked head..wouldnt be surprised......just want the car to run so i can get rid of it

found too many other issues with it as well...

i never expected to sell it on here..lol...it was for sale on here for months before i bought it...lol.....i just would like to fix it....but it sounds like its gonna be too much effort...and not worth it in the end

im an honest person......not gonna try selling something that i know is in need of repair..and act like it drives like new...

maybe it might be easier to put a standard motor back in it to sell it..... you should be able to pick one up cheap.....then you could sell it....maybe just sell the turbo motor seperate...
