Great to hear Dave, glad to hear hatchie is (almost) back in action, keen to see it at the BBQ, try not to take it swimming again ;)

It's back on the road.... and it runs great. No smoke what so ever. I couldn't have been happier. I have already clocked up the first 50km.

Only problem i did have with it today was getting the air out of the cooling system... it took about an hour of playing with it to get the thermostat to open properly and get the air out of the system.

Also one of the CV boots decided to slip off and got grease all over my exhaust. I hate them things.

dave .. dont take it to 90 acres for a run-in. That place really is a lake right now. I dropped in on the way home from work the other day to give my L a test run. I could only just drive all the way around the edges without getting stuck.

"i got a little adventurous and managed to cut almost accross the middle " famous words of someone who hasn't blown up 2 car stereos and a motor in water crossings.

Want to have a 1000km on the motor, have an oil change, coolant change, oil filter change and bash plates re-installed before i can go offroad. These are STRICT rules i have set myself to hatchies dissmay.
