L series D/R and Lib D/R?

I read somewhere that you can put the L series low range gear set in the Liberty D/R 5sp. Is this true?
I know the L's low is 1.58 to 1 or something like that? And the Lib is 1.1X?

Another thing, can you fit an LSD in the front of a Lib gearbox? If so what is the lowest ratio that will fit? 4.444 to 1?
