Gbox Ratio?

Post by Smokey » Fri Sep 01, 2006 9:05 pm

Where can I find the ratio of the Gear Box? Can't find a sticker anywhere, is it stamped into the metal somewhere? EA82 5spd dual range.

As I'm sure you're aware, there were two different final-drive ratios available in your model, 3.7:1 and 3.9:1.

As for being stamped on the gearbox, it's not that I'm aware of; However your rear diff should have a sticker on the cover that states the ratio. Front final drive will match the rear in your model.

What are the final drive ratios of the legacy 5speed D/R trannies? 4.11? 4.44? Whats the first gear ratio? Thanks.
